What if the way we analyze samples is quietly hiding the most important information? For decades, bulk analysis has been the standard. But we may be flattening the signals that matter most. In this talk, Jennie Christensen of TrichAnalytics will reveal how a slightly different approach – analyzing smaller, more precise portions of a tissue using laser ablation ICP-MS – reveals patterns we’ve been missing all along, unlocking deeper insight and greater confidence in the decisions we make about our environment.
Jennie Christensen, PhD, RPBio, is the Founder and CEO of TrichAnalytics Laboratory and a toxicologist with nearly 25 years of experience in metals analysis and environmental monitoring. She specializes in biological tissues and advanced microanalytical tools, including LA-ICP-MS, to answer complex questions about exposure, risk, and environmental change. Jennie has worked across mining, contaminated sites, wildlife, and human health applications, and is known for translating high-quality analytical science into practical, decision-relevant insight for clients and regulators.
