Mark your calendars now for the 3rd Annual Remediation Now Workshop on October 29, 2025 in person in downtown Vancouver BC and virtually! The team at GeoEnviroPro will bring together relevant and engaging technical and regulatory updates from multiple perspectives including government agencies (e.g., BC ENV, DFO, etc.), leading Canadian practitioners, and leading international experts from Europe, Australia and beyond. Together, we’ll explore current challenges and opportunities in contaminated sites management, delivering information of relevance to your on-going work.

This workshop will focus on relevant content for consultants, industry practitioners, students, researchers, and community groups. As part of our Emerging Professional Initiative, the workshop will also provide opportunities for professionals who are new to contaminated sites to connect and engage with seasoned practitioners and mentors.

The 2025 workshop priorities currently include:

• Updates on sediment investigation and remediation best practices and regulatory standards in Canada/BC.
• Current and directly relevant technical and regulatory updates on emerging contaminants.
• Engaging and relevant technical presentations from leading international experts, providing a global perspective on contaminated sites.
• Significant participation and attendance from Canadian government representatives, including Federal and Provincial (BC) agencies that are most active in contaminated sites management. We aim to provide a venue to hear from and connect with key government representatives.

We’re currently developing the list of presenters and panellists, and are refining the workshop topics. We welcome your suggestions!
